Leovet Anti-Bite Gel provides highly reliable and long-lasting protection against chewing and biting behavior in horses. The highly concentrated gel formula protects mane and tail as well as wood, metal, plastic, bandages, textiles and all types of stable and riding equipment. Thanks to its double-strength concentration, the gel offers exceptional adhesion and long-term effectiveness without leaving stains or residues.
The active ingredient Bitrex™ is one of the bitterest substances known and works immediately upon contact. Its effect is enhanced by capsaicin, a naturally occurring alkaloid found in various types of chili peppers that creates a strong heat and pungent sensation, effectively deterring repeated chewing or biting. Anti-Bite Gel is ideal for horses with pronounced chewing habits and for areas requiring intensive protection. This product is not ADMR-compliant, and a withdrawal period of 48 hours is recommended. With a 500 ml content, Leovet Anti-Bite Gel is an economical and effective solution for everyday stable use.
