OPTIMUM COMFORT - is guaranteed as a result of the light weight of the Kids-Helmet as well as the ventilation system and the padded insert with its velcro fastening to permit simple exchange or removal for washing. EXTREME SAFETY is provided by the outer shell made of solid plastic which, at the same time, is resistant to water and dirt. A Cool Head with Speed Air
A Pikeur GPA riding helmet specially conceived for hot summer months is to ensure that the German riders keep a cool head at the European Championships in San Patrignano, Italy: the Speed Air model devised by the head protection specialist GPA has been tested by many international top riders and assessed as being of optimum standard in its ventilation and wearing comfort. Also in winter at shows which are sometimes held in well-heated indoor arenas, the benefits of the new helmet will certainly be felt. As far as safety is concerned, the Speed Air model has passed the EN standard 1384 for the European market at all the approved institutes and thus offers riders optimum protection in their sport.
In addition to the new-style design, Speed Air also captivates by means of its unique ventilation system: three large lamella in the front as well as two openings on each side allow the air to circulate extremely well even at low speed. In order to provide the best possible support for the rider's head in the case of a fall all ventilation holes have firm, specially formed metal grids. The rest of the outer shell consists of knock-resistant plastic components and a shock-absorbing polystyrene insert. The inner lining consists of the well tried and tested Cool-Max material. It is attached by Velcro fastenings and is thus easy to detach for washing purposes.
